Electrostatic powder coating is a solvent-free surface coating method. The coating material consists of very fine powder paint particles that form the final layer of paint.
The powder coating is applied through special spray guns inside a paint booth. As the powder particles pass through the gun, they become electrostatically charged, causing them to adhere to the material to be painted inside the booth, completing the coating process.
After the material is coated with powder paint, it enters an oven for baking. The oven temperature of 200ºC melts the powder paint and allows it to bond to the material’s surface. The resulting coating provides excellent resistance to abrasion, rust, chemical effects, and impact, and offers an economical, environmentally friendly, wide color range, and shiny surface finish.
